
Upgrade your breakfast with Miffy’s favourite tasty French toast. It not only tastes yummy but looks super cute too! And, you can make it for all your friends.
Without further ado, here’s how…
Ingredients
- 2 slices of your chosen bread
- 2 egg whites
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chocolate spread/icing for face
- Maple Syrup to taste
- 2 Miffy heads
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup creamer (Miffy loves pumpkin spice flavor!)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon to taste
Method
- Start by cutting the shape of Miffy out of your bread in the centre. You can choose to carve out the shape of Miffy’s head, or use a Miffy cookie cutter (available here).
- Place the bread on a low-heat buttered pan. Then, crack an egg (only using the white) in the centre of the Miffy-shaped gap. Season to taste and cover for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the ingredients for French Toast. Pour the creamer (or you can use plant milk) and add the egg yolks, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cinnamon.
- Whisk until combined and soak the Miffy-shaped bread pieces you cut out earlier. Let them absorb the mix for a few seconds. Then cook for 5-8 minutes and cover. Flip and serve!
- For an extra dash of Miffy, pipe her signature facial features onto the toast bunny before tucking in.
