Flower Bouquet Tutorial

Bring Miffy into your crafting with these simple paper flowers! This tutorial is perfect for kids to give to their parents or caregivers for Mother’s Day.

What you’ll need:

  • White, orange, yellow and pink coloured paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or craft glue
  • Pencil
  • Optional: green pipe cleaners or craft sticks for stems

Step 1: Cut Out the Shape

On the white paper, lightly sketch Miffy’s head: a simple circle with two upright ears. Keep it small enough to attach to your flower.

Carefully cut along the lines. Take your time around the ears to make a clean shape.

Step 2: Create Petals

Cut out petal shapes from your coloured paper. Each flower will have five or six petals. Make them slightly larger than Miffy’s head.

Step 3: Assemble the Flower

Glue the petals together in a circle. Then attach Miffy’s head in the centre. Press gently until secure. If you like, attach a green pipe cleaner or craft stick to the back as a stem. You can also add leaves using green paper.

Step 4: Decorate

Use markers or coloured pencils to add Miffy’s facial features. Simple black lines for eyes and a cross for her mouth bring her to life.

Step 5: Display Your Flowers

Place your Miffy paper flowers in a vase, attach them to a card, or use them as decorations for a craft wall.

These cheerful Miffy flowers are fun to make and brighten up any space. Try making different sizes or colours for a playful bouquet!
