Miffy x Tullie Museum

Miffy is headed to Tullie in Carlisle for the Easter school holidays. From 28 March -12 April, families can enjoy a number of spring-themed activities centred around a museum trail leading to objects that have caught the little bunny’s eye.

Miffy was introduced in 1955, created by Dutch illustrator and author Dick Bruna and since then has appeared across books, television programmes and became a cultural icon. 2025 saw Miffy’s 70th birthday with celebrations across the globe. Tullie is incredibly excited to welcome Miffy in her 71st year for what may well be her first official visit to Carlisle.

Accompanying the trail will be a series of Miffy themed events and activities at Tullie for the whole family to enjoy:

  • Miffy Make and Takes – a twist on Tullie’s popular craft sessions
  • Miffy Storytime on the Galleries – cosy up with a Miffy book read by Tullie staff
  • Make a Miffy village – become an eco-architect for the afternoon and build Miffy a village out of recycled materials
  • Miffy Little Explorers – little ones can come and get messy with Miffy

The Miffy spring trail at Tullie and activities mentioned above are included with adult museum admission, children and under-18s go free. For more details visit tullie.org.uk/miffy
