Miffy loves baking and wanted to try something new. Aunt Alice thought she might like Bread and Butter Pudding but her friend Eimear suggested that she might prefer Bread and Bunny Pudding so Miffy chose that instead!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your bread and bunny pudding:
Miffy cutter
1 egg
5 slices of bread
Butter
1/2 cup cream
1 cup milk
3 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins/sultanas
1/2 tsp allspice/cinnamon
1 tsp demerara sugar
Dark chocolate for faces

Before you start, make sure to put your apron on to keep nice and clean like Miffy! Now, butter the slices of bread on both sides and cut them into triangles.

Ask an adult to grease a baking dish with butter and then you can add a layer of bread triangles to the bottom of the dish. Miffy loves raisins so she sprinkled some on top of hers. Do this 2 or 3 times so that your Miffys are layered on top of each other.

Cut Miffy out using your cutter. You should have about nine Miffys per layer! Lots and lots of Miffys.

Mix your egg, cream, milk, caster sugar, vanilla and allspice together and pour this over your pudding. It’ll be just like when Miffy goes swimming!

Sprinkle demerara sugar on top and place your dish into a bigger dish which is full of water. Ask an adult to put your dishes in the oven at 160C for 30 minutes and then your bread and bunny pudding should be perfect!

Let it cool and then draw your Miffy faces using a toothpick with dark chocolate on the end. Yum!
