A new Miffy book called ‘dear grandma bunny’ is relaunching and will be in all good bookshops this September.
Last published in 2005, the simple illustrations approach the sensitive and difficult subject of death in a way that is designed to help children understand the feelings surrounding the loss of a loved one.
‘dear grandma bunny’ was considered by Bruna to be one of the best books he ever made, creating a way for parents to make an honest and understanding way to talk about an inevitable yet tough subject.
The original illustrations are by Dick Bruna and the text has been translated by award-winning poet, Tony Mitton.
‘dear grandma bunny’ will be available in all good bookshops from 6th September, priced at £4.99.
