Miffy loves to read! She’s straight out of a book herself, having first appeared in 1955 in Dick Bruna’s picture book miffy
In the run up to Miffy’s 60th anniversary in 2015, the classic hardback Miffy stories have been updated for a modern British audience with brand new translations by award-winning poet Tony Mitton. To celebrate this, and to get you talking about your favourite Miffy books, the new Miffy Book Club is launching next Friday!
Each week, we’ll be discussing a different Miffy book, starting at the very beginning with Dick Bruna’s first story miffy and running through the series. Each story covers a universal childhood experience, so there’s plenty of food for thought.
How do you join The Miffy Book Club?
It’s easy, just join us on Twitter every Friday between 1pm and 2pm, where you can talk about what you love most about the books and share your childhood memories or the special moments of joy your own children have experienced whilst reading Miffy. To keep up with the conversation, take a look at the hashtag #MiffyBookClub.
