Miffy thought that your local nursery or preschool might like to help celebrate Easter with her. How can they celebrate? With a Miffy Easter Extravaganza of course!
A Miffy Easter Extravaganza is a fun event for under fives that any Early Years setting in the UK can organise in the run up to Easter 2015. It involves children’s craft activities – for example decorating Miffy ears for an Easter parade – plus storytelling and a party to celebrate Miffy’s 60th anniversary. We are providing 500 event packs with free resources worth £25 to support these events. To help raise money for Bliss, the special care baby charity, we are asking staff at nurseries and pre-schools to hold a cake sale for parents during their Miffy Easter Extravaganza – and we are providing Miffy edible cake toppers in the event packs to get them started. The Early Years setting that raises the most money for Bliss will win a special visit from Miffy herself in June!
