Miffy French Toast

French toast makes a great breakfast in spring with plenty of fresh berries, some syrup, and maybe even a drizzle of chocolate!

Here is how you can make bite-size French Miffy Toast and start your day off in the best way possible.

Before you get started, it’s a good idea to get together all of your ingredients.

For the toast you’ll need some sliced white bread, one egg, 40ml milk and some butter for cooking. Miffy loves to add a pinch of cinnamon, but that’s up to you!

You’ll also need a frying pan, a spatula and some Miffy Cookie Cutters or a Miffy template, like this one:

Now that you have all the bits and pieces you need, it’s time to get cooking! First things first, beat together the eggs and milk and tip into a flat dish. Sprinkle in some cinnamon if you want and put the pan on a low heat with a small dollop of butter.

Next, cut as many Miffys out of the bread as you can. If you’re using a stencil, a sharp knife should cut through the bread very easily.

When you have enough Miffys, pop them into the egg mixture, leave for a few seconds then flip them over to absorb more of the mixture.

Now they’re ready to cook! Place them in the frying pan for a few minutes or until they begin to turn golden on the bottom. Flip them over and cook for another few minutes until they are evenly coloured.

Finally, it’s time to decorate! Using melted chocolate, drizzle on the eyes and nose, and serve with fresh berries, cream and some maple syrup!
