Things to do in the Autumn

The summer may be over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to be! Miffy has created a list of autumnal activities to keep you busy as the days start to get shorter and the weather colder!

Bake some ghost pumpkin cupcakes

You know what autumn means, Halloween! Miffy loves baking so why not celebrate the season by whipping up a catch of spookily good cupcakes!

You can find the recipe here – https://miffyblogs.com/2020/10/21/halloween-ghost-pumpkin-cupcakes/

Create an autumn leaf collage

In autumn there is an abundance of beautiful leaves in glowing shades of red, orange and yellow. Go for a walk and gather lots of these natural materials – then, when you get home you can create a collage! Simply purchase a large sheet of card in a colour of your choice and stick on your findings in a pattern of your choice. For an extra touch, you could even wash over the whole picture with glitter glue!

Collect conkers

Find a bag or container and see how many conkers you can collect – but watch out for stinging nettles! Once you have collected enough conkers, you could use them to play or make some arts and crafts such as conker spiders!

Host a movie night

When it’s a cold, dark and wet evening there are few things better than snuggling up on the sofa and watching a movie! Get your popcorn at the ready and choose a film!
