Miffy is part of a new and exciting project – the launch of a new book, Miffy x Vermeer, published by Thames & Hudson.
The book is connecting Johannes Vermeer’s art to young children, marking the occasion in Amsterdam with an exhibition at the Rijksmuseum from 10th February – 4th June 2023.
Miffy x Vermeer is a delightful book introducing young children to the world of art. The second in a series that began with the award-winning Miffy x Rembrandt (2019).
The artists Vermeer and Dick Bruna are both world famous and born in the Netherlands. Although their work may seem quite different, there are many similarities. Both were fascinated by small, intimate stories, focusing on a single activity, often taking place in and around the house.
